Additional Mobs

The 1.12.2 version of this mod won't be updated anymore. The newest MCreator versions no longer support 1.12.2, which means there will be no more updates for this version.

Additional Mobs (earlier More Mobs) mod adds several new mobs and other features to spice up the game. Some of the mobs have several variants. The mod is available for Minecraft 1.14.4, 1.15.2 and 1.12.2 (discontinued)

This mod unfortunately doesn't have a config file, that means you can't turn off specific mobs.

Shroomlings:

• Mob Type: Passive
• Information: Can spawn in groups, Avoids Players, Has 2 variants: Red and Brown, Panics when attacked
• Drops: Red Mushroom (Red), Brown Mushroom (Brown)
• Biomes: Mushroom Fields (Common), Roofed Forest (Rare)

Goblins:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Can spawn in groups, Attacks Players and Villagers, Avoids Iron Golems, Has 2 variants: Green and Darker Green
• Drops: Leather
• Biomes: Forest, Birch Forest, Roofed Forest, Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Mega Taiga, Goblin Village (Underground) (Night)

Ghost:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Can fly, Attacks Players, Immune to fire and potion effects
• Drops: Gunpowder
• Biomes: Nether

Skeleshrooms:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Attacks Players, Burns in daylight, Has 2 variants: Red and Brown
• Drops: Bones
• Biomes: Mushroom Fields (Night)

Troll:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Attacks Players, Deals high damage and has a lot of health, Spawns rarely
• Drops: Obsidian
• Biomes: Plains, Forests, Mountains (Night)

Vampire:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Attacks Players, Villagers and Iron Golems, Spawns rarely, Can turn a Villager into Zombie Villager, Burns in daylight
• Drops: Vampire Fang (used for crafting Blood Bottle)
• Biomes: Almost Everywhere (Overworld) (Night)

Flying Eye:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Can fly, Attacks Players, Immune to fire
• Drops: Glowstone Dust
• Biomes: Nether

Ender Beast:

• Mob Type: Neutral
• Information: Attacks Players when provoked, Deals high damage and has a lot of health, Spawns rarely
• Drops: Ender Pearl
• Biomes: Outer Islands (The End)

Magma Snail:

• Mob Type: Defensive
• Information: Leaves fire when dies, Sets player on fire on contact, Immune to fire, 
• Drops: Magma Cream
• Biomes: Nether

Tree Stalkers:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Attacks Players, Has 6 variants: Oak, Birch, Spruce, Dark Oak, Acacia and Jungle
• Drops: Log (Depends what variant)
• Biomes: Forest (Oak), Birch Forest (Birch), Taiga; Snowy Taiga; Mega Taiga (Spruce), Roofed Forest (Dark Oak), Savannah (Acacia), Jungle (Jungle) (Night)

Wooly Cow:

• Mob Type: Passive
• Information: Follows Players with wheat in hand, Can spawn in groups, Panics when attacked
• Drops: Raw Beef, Light Orange Wool
• Biomes: Snowy Taiga, Snowy Mega Taiga

Cactoise:

• Mob Type: Defensive
• Information: Can sting Players on contact, Immune to cactus, Follows Players with sugar cane in hand, Can spawn in groups, Panics when attacked, Has different texture in 1.12.2 and 1.14.4
• Drops: Cactus
• Biomes: Desert, Badlands

Goat:

• Mob Type: Passive
• Information: Immune to fall damage, Follows Players with wheat, carrot or apple in hand, Can spawn in groups, Scared of water buckets, Panics when attacked
• Drops: Raw Mutton, Beige Wool
• Biomes: Mountains, Snowy Mountains, Mountains with trees

Headcrab: (1.12.2 and 1.14.4 only)

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Immune to fall damage, Attacks and jumps at Players, Can spawn in groups, Reference to Half-Life
• Drops: Rotten Flesh
• Biomes: Swamp (Night)

Ghoul:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Attacks Players, It's faster and stronger version of the Zombie
• Drops: Rotten Flesh, Bones
• Biomes: Desert (Night)

Stone Golem:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Attacks Players, Deals high damage, Immune to fire and fall damage, His spawn egg works only underground for now in 1.14.4, Spawns rarely (1.14.4 only)
• Drops: Cracked Stone Bricks
• Biomes: Underground (1.14.4), Mountains (1.12.2, Night)

Hornet:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Can fly, Attacks Players, Their attacks can inflict poison, Deals high damage when in groups
• Drops: Stinger (used for crafting Poisonous Dagger)
• Biomes: Hornet Hive (Nether)

Hornet Larva:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Attacks Players, Very fast movement speed, Deals high damage when in groups
• Drops: Nothing
• Biomes: Hornet Hive (Nether)

Piranha:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Attacks Players, Spawns in groups
• Drops: Raw Piranha (can be cooked)
• Biomes: Deep Ocean

Fennec Fox:

• Mob Type: Passive
• Information: Can spawn in groups, Is scared of Players
• Drops: Nothing
• Biomes: Deserts

Fungus Zombie:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Attacks Players and Shroomlings, Can spawn in groups, Zombie variant
• Drops: Red Mushroom
• Biomes: Mushroom Fields (Night)

Snow Growler:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Shoots snowballs at Players and Snow Golems, Snowballs can be deflected with a Shield
• Drops: Snow Block
• Biomes: Snowy Taiga, Snowy Mega Taiga, Ice Spikes (Night)

Ominous Shadow:

• Mob Type: Agressive
• Information: Attacks Players, His spawn egg works only underground, Spawns sometimes in dark caves
• Drops: Shadow Shard (used for crafting Shadow Tools)
• Biomes: Underground

Spider Queen: (1.14.4 only)

• Mob Type: Agressive, Miniboss
• Information: Attacks Players, Has a lot of health, Deals high damage, Spawns only in Spider Lair structure
• Drops: Experience Points
• Biomes: Spider Lair (Underground)

Structures:

- Goblin Village: Generates underground (uncommon), Spawns with Goblins, Some huts have chests with loot

- Hornet Nest: Generates in the Nether, Spawns with Hornets, Contains new blocks: Hornet Hive Block, Hornet Comb Block

- Spider Lair: (1.14.4 only) (NEW) Generates underground (common), Spawns with strong Spider Queen miniboss, Has 1 treasure chest in the middle pillar, Contains new blocks: Webbed Stone and Hanging Web

Recipes:

- Blood Bottle: 1 Water Bottle/Any potion + 1 Vampire Fang

When used gives Player 4 hunger points and effects: Speed, Strength and Night Vision (1 minute)

- Venom Dagger: 1 stinger + 1 stick

Can inflict poison to the mob when attacked, Very fast attack recharge meter, Has less durability than wooden sword

- Shadow Sword: (NEW) 2 shadow shards + 1 stick

Can inflict slowness to the mob when attacked, Faster than iron sword, Has more durability than iron sword

- Shadow Pickaxe: (NEW) 3 shadow shards + 2 sticks

Faster than iron pickaxe, Has more durability than iron pickaxe

- Shadow Axe: (NEW) 3 shadow shards + 2 sticks

Faster than iron axe, Has more durability than iron axe

- Shadow Shovel: (NEW) 1 shadow shard + 2 sticks

Faster than iron shovel, Has more durability than iron shovel

- Shadow Hoe: (NEW) 2 shadow shards + 2 sticks

Faster than iron hoe, Has more durability than iron hoe
