There are 3 Zanpakuto Spirits; Fire, Lightning, and wind, which are in the Heated, Charged, and Whistling Reaper Spirit injectors, respectfully. Each one gives you increased jump boost and the ability to reishi walk (Flight)

It is when you craft the Shihakusho outfit that you can access your Shikai. 

All Reaper Spirits give you the ability to use Shunpo (Flash Step)

The Heated Reaper Spirit gives you: 

 - Fire Resistance

 - Flame Attacks (When you attack, the target is set on fire for 5 seconds)

The Charged Reaper Spirit gives you: 

 - Lightning Strikes

 - Lightning Shots (constant projectile)

The Whistling Reaper Spirit gives you: 

 - Increased Jump Boost*

 - Increased Fall Damage Resistance*

 - Slowfall

Bankai is accessible by obtaining the Captain's Shihakusho (Complete with awesome cape).

All Reaper Spirits have their Shunpo distances increased with this outfit

The Heated Reaper Spirit gives you: 

 - Fire Resistance

 - Flame Attacks (When you attack, the target is set on fire for 99999 seconds)

 - Oni Form (Demon Form, Kenpachi style) (Purely cosmetic)

 - Increased Strength (Toggleable)

The Charged Reaper Spirit gives you: 

 - Lightning Strikes (Infinite distance)

 - Lightning Shots (constant projectile)

 - Speed*

The Charged Reaper Spirit gives you: 

 - Increased Jump Boost*

 - Increased Fall Damage Resistance (Infinite)*

 - Slowfall
