There is a lot of work going into the next version. we are getting close to version 1.0.0

The goal is to keep compatibility with upgrading servers through the versions to have no progress being lost.

Chocobo Knights Of The Crafting Table

This Mod will start out as a Minecraft Version 1.12.2.

Once this mod reaches feature complete, a Minecraft version 1.15.2 will be created, and then followed by Minecraft version 1.16.X.

There is enough interest that it is being released early.

First Beta/Alpha version. "v0.1.0"

Chocobo:

Taming: use greens. Different Greens can cause a few different effects.

Color

Abilities

You can toggle the abilities just right click the chocobo with "Chocobo Feather", "Chocobo Talon", "Chocobo Beak".

Dynamic Textures

Watch what happens when you name your Chocobo from the list below, case does not matter. The first time will take a minimal of 5 minutes to take effect. Requires Internet Access to retrieve.

Manually Chocobo Attack

will clear trees if the Chocobo has that ability

But currently will not damage any mobs.

Chocobo Whistle allows for making the chocobo sit or follow.

Breeding chocobos:

Color can be passed on

Abilities can be passed on

Stats can increase or possibly decrease for child.

Use the DNA tester on any chocobo to see its stats. Better view method to come.

Breeding is done with Nuts.

Different Nuts give different chances of the breeding results.

Warning "Kupo Nut" is not a Chocobo nut.

Chocobo Armor:

Mostly for show, no real testing done involving this yet.

Note: currently the only way to equip this is to right click a chocobo with it. If the chocobo already has a armor piece the currently equipped armor piece will be dropped by the chocobo.

Chocobo Saddle Pack:

The level of "Efficiency" enchantment on this determines how much it can hold. There is no visual difference at the moment, each level gives you another row in the inventory.

Note: currently the only way to equip this is to right click a chocobo with it. If the chocobo already has a saddle pack the currently equipped saddle pack will be dropped by the chocobo.

Chocobo Saddle:

Required to steer a tamed chocobo. Not required to ride. You can ride wild chocobos as long as you do not care where you travel to.

There are several colors, have fun.

Note: currently the only way to equip this is to right click a chocobo with it. If the chocobo already has a saddle the currently equipped saddle will be dropped by the chocobo.

Chocobo Eggs will only hatch when in a nest.

Easter Egg: Currently the admin spawned egg, if placed on the ground then harvested, and then placed in a nest will hatch as a Rainbow Chocobo with all Abilities. Rainbow chocobos randomly change colors.

Behavior:

Fairly basic.

Currently mainly act like a bunch of wolfs.

Might want to make larger fences to protect your sheep.

Plants:

Seeds, Nuts, Pepper:

All spawn in the wild, and all can be farmed.

All are compressible to ease in storage.

Foods:

Only a few so far, but entertaining.

Moogle:

Features:

Forgotten.

Literally, do not remember what they can do.

Settings:

There are a ton. The goal is to allow everything be configurable in the settings.

Spawn rates.

There are some armors that require ingots from other mods.
