Usage
Check the concord-common.toml config file for configuration options.
Server operators: Use /concord enable to enable the Discord integration, /concord disable to disable it, and /concord reload to restart the integration.
Use /concord status to query the status of the Discord integration
Setup
- 1. Install the mod to your server.
This step is the same as installing a regular mod.
- 2. Create a Discord bot (if you already have one, then skip this step):
- a. Go to the Discord Developer Portal, then Applications.
- b. Click New Application at the top-right, near your avatar.
- c. Type a name for your new discord bot, then click Create.
- d. Go to the Bot menu on the left, then click Add Bot, then click Yes, do it!.
- e. Copy the bot user's token by clicking Copy (next to the Reveal button). Save this for the next step!
- f. Scroll down and activate the Presence Intent and Server Members Intent switches, then click Save Changes.
- g. Go to the OAuth2 menu on the left, scroll down and select Bot, then scroll down and select the following permissions:
- View Channels, Send Messages
- h. Scroll up and copy the link using the Copy button, then paste into your browser's address bar.
- g. Select your server from the dropdown menu, then click Continue and follow the shown steps to add your bot to the server! (Requires the Manage Server permission to do this)
- 3. Boot up your server (there will be a message in the console/log about Discord integration being disabled, and then nagivate to the config folder.
- 4. Paste your bot user's token into the token field, your server's ID into the guild_id field, and the ID of the chat channel you wish to use into the channel_id field.
To get the IDs, open the channel in the server using the Discord web client, then look in the URL; the first number is the server ID, and the second number is the channel ID.
- 5. In your server console (or ingame as a server operator), run the /concord enable command to reenable the Discord integration.
