Conversion Mod

With the Conversion Mod you have the possibility to convert items and blocks into another item or block like the Minium Stone in Equivalent Exchange 3.  There are 207 recipes implemented now. More recipes will follow by adding the API of other mods in the future.  The current version is a complete change of the mod. There are only one kind of diamonds which are the Blood Diamonds. You can find them in caves or you can kill creepers to get one per creeper. With 8 Blood Diamonds and one normal diamond you can craft the Conversion Ball which is the most important item of the mod. The recipe goes like the picture below.

With the Conversion Ball you can convert items and blocks into an other item or block in the normal crafting table. There are 207 recipes implemeted now, which is to much for showing, but if you have NEI installed you will find out what is possible. There are 4 kinds of recipes which you can see in the 4 pictures below.

The red slots stands for the item or block you want to convert. With the last kind of recipe you can smelt ores and food without a furnace and the first and the second kind of recipe also goes in the 2 x 2 crafting. The Conversion Ball has a max amout of 2000 uses. You can recharge the Conversion Ball in an anvil by using Blood Diamonds and an some XP levels.

In the current version of the Conversion Mod there is an item called Conversion Wand. With this item you can change blocks in the world. The recipe goes like the picture below. You will need a full charged Conversion Ball and a stick.

By default the Conversion Wand changes a block by right clicking on them with grass. But you have the possibility to change that. All what you have to do is to make a right click on the Block you what to use while sneaking. By default there is a block filter enabled. If this filter is enabled you can't change all blocks in the world. Blocks you can't change are blocks with a tileentity on it like chests, machines an some special blocks like ores, redstone stuff and some more. You will find out which blocks can not be used. You also have the possibility to change the working grid with the add and substract key on your keyboard and over a GUI which comes with the version 1.0.11 of the mod. You can change this grid from 1x1 to 3x3, 5x5, 7x7 and 9x9 and back for example to make a road or a path. You also can change the mode from block mode which can set blocks to block delete mode which can erase blocks to water mode which can change blocks into water and lava mode which change blocks into lava over the GUI. 

In the GUI you can visually see how the grid is, which block you have selected and which mode you have selected. Note that the slot you can see in the GUI is not really a slot like other GUIs. The durability of the Conversion Wand is 1000. It is possible to repair the Conversion Wand in an anvil with Blood Diamonds which comes with this mod.
