I am annoyed at the Soul sand valley and Basalt Deltas in the 1.16 nether update. I love their concept, how they look, all but one thing.
They are only on the surface. If you dig any bit into them, you'll run into netherrack. It doesn't make sense for giant cave biomes to only be surface deep. So this mod aims to fix that. Here is what the mod does, summed up...
1) During the RAW generation (first step) of the Soulsand valley and basalt deltas, replaces as much netherrack as it can in it's biome.
2) Adds in two variations of Nether Gold Ore and Nether Quartz Ore. So they fit in with the biomes they are in. These spawn during the UNDERGROUND ORE generation phase. they act as nether gold and nether quartz does.
3) Adds a tag to Soul Soil so Ancient Debris may spawn in it. This means netherrack can still spawn in Soulsand valleys
