Knights of the Maze

Welcome to Knights of the Maze! In this PvP game, you must defeat your friends in a randomly generated maze. The maze comes packed with random loot chests holding special goodies! Do you think you can get them before your friends?

When you first enter the game, you will be put in a lobby in adventure mode.
When enough players have entered the game, do the following things:

• Choose a desired map size. (Small, Medium, or Large)
• Choose a desired amount of lives. (3, 5, or 7)
• Pick your knight's colour (Green, Blue, Red, or Yellow), or stay colourless and become a spectator once the game starts.

Once everyone has chosen a colour (there must be at least 2 different colours picked in order for the game to start), press "Start Game".

You will be asked to wait for the chests to randomize and for the map to generate, a progress bar will be shown to you as the map generates.

You will be teleported according to your colour to the maze, and from there the fun starts - explore what the maze has to offer, find loot chests and get special gear, and most important - fight the other colours until they don't have any more lives.

Please note that you don't have to reset the map every time you finish a round, it resets itself once you press "Start Game" again, according to the new configuration. Don't reset the map, since you gain a "Kills" score when playing, which later could be used to unlock special unlockables (unless the game has updated, which, in this case, update it. Worth it. Check this thread for updates, if you're interested.)!

IMPORTANT SERVER SETTINGS!:

• Play on Adventure mode.
• Play on Normal difficulty.
• Command blocks must be ON.
• Spawn protection must be OFF.
• PvP must be ON.
• 2+ Players.

The Code Book is here for you!

Apart from some neat easter eggs, the code book can be useful at times of need.

To input codes, just open the book, write the code EXACTLY as written here, and press "Done" (not "Sign").

LIST OF USEFUL CODES:
- stuck - Use if the maze generation left you completely blocked off, it shouldn't happen very often, but it does sometimes. Please note that this code will stop the current game, so don't use it just because you lose, use only in the case stated above.

- resetkills - Use to reset the "Kills" score. I don't know why you would want to do such a thing, since kills are the way to unlock unlockables, but hey, I don't judge you.

- update - Use to open a browser page of the game, right here on Minecraft Forums.

- credits - Use to show the credits of the game, honour for a moment those who made it.

- bookoff - Use to turn off the code book in case it causes too much lag on your server. It shouldn't, but still.

Already bored of the 80+ default rooms in Knights of the Maze?
Well, we thought about just that!
We have added unlockable room packs that add to the variety of rooms in the maze.

To unlock the room packs, you need to reach an amount of Kills in game and then press "unlock".

The room packs are not required for gameplay, and can only be unlocked through in-game scores.

LIST OF UNLOCKABLE ROOM PACKS:
- Knights of the Forest - (referred to in-game as "Forest Knights") this room pack adds several forest themed rooms that add to the maze generation. (Creator SuperDando's favourite.)

- Extra Rooms - Just random rooms that add to the maze diversification.

- Dungeons - Bring the Minecraft dungeons in to the maze! (Including: Desert temple, ocean monument, abandoned mine shaft, witch hut, and stronghold.)

- Secret - This secret room pack's unlocking method is a secret that we will reveal once the minigame has gained popularity.

We have the intention of adding more room packs sometime in the future. Maybe.

• Toggle room packs. (Allows you to enable/disable your unlocked room packs.)
• More room packs!
