A simple mod that displays kill messages for the mobs you defeat. The kill messages are configurable based on the type of damage source that defeated the mob (melee, bow, non-bow projectile, etc.) and can be edited to include the player or mob name in any way and as often as desired.
Kill messages are only displayed if you hit the mob before it dies.
(Check the "Image" tab above for an example of the config)
Features:
- Fully configurable kill messages for each of the following damage sources:
- Melee (miscellaneous stuff like cacti defaults here)
- Bow
- Projectiles (non-arrow)
- Fire
- Fall damage
- Explosion
- Void
- Config option to send kill messages to all players in the world (false by default)
- Can be used with the configuration GUI. No restarts required.
- No known incompatibilities with other mods
Compatible with Forge 14.23.5.2768 for Minecraft 1.12.2 (not tested on other Forge versions but should work fine).
