[1.0.0] Liquid Tanks

Liquid Tanks

Are you sick of having to venture back down into your dark, monster-infested mineshaft just to get that lousy bucket of lava? Are your tired of constantly traveling between your home and the sea just to get that bucket of water? Are you fed up of having to leave the safety of your home just to find that damn cow?

Well now you dont have to be!

Liquid Tanks is the first of hopefully many mods i am making. Simple, but very useful, it allows you easy access to all your favorite liquids, without having to leave the safety of your own home. All you have to do is put together some relatively easy to get items, (Recipes below) and you will have your very own Liquid Tank. (With your liquid of choice) You can place this block anywhere you see fit, and whenever you are in need of a certain liquid, just right click whilst holding a bucket on its respective tank. It's as easy as that!

Installation

There are plenty of videos and guides out there explaining how to install and run mods, but i will give you a basic run-down of what you need to do:

1) Before we start, this mod requires Risorgami's ModLoader, like most mods. If you haven't got it, grab it now over at the minecraft forums.
2) If you haven't already, download the Liquid Tanks mod from the download link above.
3) Find your minecraft.jar. It is located in C:UsersYourNameAppDataRoaming.minecraftbin
4) Open minecraft.jar with your archiver of choice. (I prefer WinRaR)
5) Delete your META-INF folder within the minecraft.jar. No mods will work if it exists.
6) Now Simply drag all of the files from ModLoader and LiquidTanks and drop them into the root directory of your minecraft.jar.
7) Start up minecraft, play and have fun ;)

If you are having any trouble doing this, feel free to ask me for help. :)

FAQ

Q) Do i need ModLoader to use this mod?
A) Yes, like most other mods, Liquid Tanks requires ModLoader in order to run.

Q) Can i still use texture packs when using this mod?
A) You sure can!

Q) Is this mod compatible with other mods?
A) Liquid Tanks should run fine with any other type of mod. The only types of mods it isn't compatible with are the ones that also directly affect the bucket class file, or use the same block ID's as the Tanks.

Q) Help, my Minecraft client will not work with your mod installed!
A) If your client happens to crash whilst running my mod, (Which it probobaly won't) then send me your error report and i will try my best to help and fix the error.

Q) What item ID's do the tanks use?
A) The water, lava and milk tanks use the ID's of 142, 143 and 144 respectively.

Final Notes

Please note that this is my very first mod. While it may not appear very exiting to some people, it was a major leap for me. Hopefully i will be making tons more mods with the knowledge i have gained so far. Please feel free to compliment, talk about, critisise or suggest new ideas below :D
