50 Minecraft Mods

Warning: THIS IS NOT MADE BY MOJANG, ONLY BY ME (with the help of some friends and the bedrock dev discord). While some entries in the description are only there as a joke, some others are actual features in the addon.

Not many actual things from the Love & Hugs update are in this addon’s first release, as I’ve prioritized 2.0 features first.

Due to the mixed reception of 1.21, we’ve decided to move our development resources away from Minecraft’s major updates and instead completely focus on releasing our new game: Minecraft 2!

In this preview of what’s to come, we’ve revealed the first features that will be a part of the future! You might be familiar with some of these features, though, as some… Bad actors… Have leaked these back in 2013 and 2014. Yes, we’ve been polishing and planning for this game all the way back then! As always, you can give us your opinions on the new features here. Get your snacks and have fun!

API

FINALLY moved everything in the Holiday Creator Features toggle to vanilla! This is an experimental change that requires Holiday Creator Features. [editor’s note: this was written before the HCF deprecation announcement]

Gameplay

Renamed Lava to Molten Cheese to help reflect our all-inclusive policy.
- Lava -> Molten Cheese
- Magma Cream -> Cheese Ball
- Magma Cube -> Cheese Cube
- Magma Block -> Molten Cheese Block
- Fire Charge -> Spicy Meatball
Renamed Survival to Existence, because you no longer need to survive, only thrive!

Blocks

Added Etho Slabs
- A tribute to the best YouTuber ever, Ethstalker!
- Crafted from either 3 TNT (to get 6) or 3 gunpowder and 3 sand (to get 2).
- Has half the explosion power of regular TNT.
Added Etho’s Anvils
- Occasionally spawns falling down on mobs nearby exploding Etho Slabs.
- The more mobs around, the more likely they appear!
Added Fish Blocks
- They come in Cod, Salmon, Pufferfish, and Tropical Fish varieties.
You can now apply dye to glass bl- oh wait, we already did that…

Animals

Added the rare and critically endangered Jeb’s Pony.
- They spawn in the same places as cows and pigs do. Trust me, they definitely have unique behavior!
Added the also critically endangered Agnes’s Horse
- Definitely different from Jeb’s discovery!
Added Diamond Chickens
- A 1/100 mutation present in chicken eggs allows for them to hatch with blue feathers and a new superpower: mineral synthesis!
- They are still mother nature’s prototypes in the early stages of testing; very rarely, they can be prone to explosion.

Monsters

Pink Creeper
- Spawns rarely in all 3 dimensions
- If you catch them before they explode, you can snatch a few flowers and even a bit of gunpowder!

Debugging

Due to all the annoying duplicate bug reports we’ve received (seriously guys, do you know what a search bar even is?), we’ve decided to add various ways for us to spot errors in day-to-day gameplay! Through the power of telemetry, encountering these will automatically report their situations to our offices.

Added Bug Rock, a block that generates only in generation errors!

- - In order to follow with the pun, breaking it releases a random arthropod!
  - Our expertise made this block as stable as possible, and to preserve our stereotypically-conflated-but-actually-diminished egos we are no longer accepting any bug reports related to this block’s behaviors.

Added Redstone Bugs, a silverfish-like mob that spawns when a redstone bug occurs. (Very anticlimactic.)

- Bugs most commonly occur with pistons. (Waterlogged ones are bug-free, their behavior is 100% intended!)

Some smaller things that we’ve put aside while working on the first preview’s features will be coming next preview, including:

CAUTION:

This addon requires the Beta APIs experiment to be ON, due to the use of custom components. Shortly after 1.21.10 releases, I'll make an update to this pack to move the scripts over to a stable scripting version.
