Mythic Metals
Mythic Metals is a Fabric based Minecraft mod, that adds over 30 new ores, tools, materials, and sets of armor.
The mod is heavily inspired by Shadowclaimers Metallurgy, and was originally intended as a port. After being denied the privilege to do so this mod was created from the ground up as my first proper Minecraft mod.
This mod is licensed under MIT, and used to be licensed under GPLv3. Please read these before re-using any code.
Feel free to use this in any modpack you wish for. I might feature them on this page!

Known issues
Alloy Forgery 1.0.6 crashes on dedicated servers. Please upgrade to 1.1.0 to fix this.
The Hallowed Update
Thank you for being patient with this update. This update re-works a lot of the assets currently in the mod, as well as adding a lot more blocks to play with.
First thing in the patch notes is a new material: Hallowed. You make this by combining Adamantite, Orichalcum and Mythril when alloying.
Speaking of alloys, the old smithing table system has been scrapped. Instead you now have to make an Alloy Forger from the Alloy Forgery mod! A quick tutorial will appear on the Mythic Metals Wiki.
There are now new blocks to play with: Mythic Metal Chains and Anvils! The anvils, over vanilla ones, do not break.
PigLib is no longer embedded in the mod. You will have to download it manually in order to prevent Piglins from attacking you when wearing Argonium.
We now support biome exclusive ore generation in Biomes You'll Go, Terrestria and Traverse! I am still adding more biome mods to this list, please come with suggestions if you cannot find the exclusive ores in your favorite biome mod.
The last point is that ore generation has been re-vamped. The ranges are mainly the same, but the code has changed so now all ores should spawn much higher up than before. Please provide any feedback as you play.
Lastly I want to thank the artists behind the new textures:
- DH(LordDeatHunter), for a lot of the re-colours, item models and animated textures.
- Temreno, for the new armour and tool models.
- Tector, for the new ore and ingot textures.
- Pois1x, for the new anvil model + texture.
- Henchman, for new low-tier textures (copper, tin, bronze, and ur).

Planned Updates
- Documentation in the form of the Wiki and possibly Patchouli.
- Ore generation redistribution and balancing. Playtesting is needed to figure out a good balance for the ores and armor.
- Better textures and designs(I am still looking for more texture artists. I you want to contribute, contact me via the Fabric Discord, or preferrably the Wraith Modding Discord (link below)
- A few more alloys and a couple of ores in The End
- A new addon which expands on the metal decorations (chains) currently in the mod

Feel free to contribute a translation if you want to! I do not support crowdin, so you will have to either put it up as a pull request or raise an issue with a translated lang file (on GitHub).
Compatability
Mythic Metals is compatible with multiple mods. It uses common tag conventions which automatically lets materials from this mod be used in others.
Look at the "optional dependencies" under the mod to see which mods are currently supported.
