What is OTG: Dimensions
OTG: Dimensions is created by MC_Pitman that requires the Flatlands, Skylands and Void worlds and places each world in its own dimension.
Note: Floating islands terrain is very intensive to generate and can cause lag when initialising a dimension, this lag should pass after a few minutes. We are working on making the Skylands dimension less laggy. In the mean time you can pre-generate a world in SP and copy it to a MP server's world/dim directory to avoid exploration lag or if you are experiencing connection timeout problems for MP try extending the server timeout time and/or rebooting the client and/or server. Once a world or dimension has been properly initialised lag should decrease dramatically. You can also use the /otg dim -c and -d commands to create or delete dimensions.
This worldpack demonstrates the (Forge only) multi-dimension features of OTG. You can construct a portal made of quartz or glowstone to travel between OTG dimensions and use the /otg dim console commands to manage dimensions.
How to install Mod:
(1) Install the version of Minecraft Forge that corresponds with the mod
(2) Download the Mod.
(3) Drop the entire zipped file into your mods folder (Search %appdata% on your PC then go into .minecraft, then mods(create this folder if it is not there))
(4) Open Minecraft and make sure your profile is set to Forge
(5) Start Minecraft and enjoy!
