1:1 Kirov class battlecruiser Pyotr Velikiy
Me and my friends recreation of the project 1144.2 "Orlan" heavy nuclear powered guided missile cruiser.
The project 1144 Orlan (NATO designation Kirov class) is a class of russian nuclear powered cruisers built for the russian navy from the 1970s to the 1990s. 4 of these ships were built, while a fifth was never finished. The Ural "SSV-33) used the same hull construction as the Kirovs, but it is longer. The Admiral Ushakov (ex Kirov) was completed to the project 1144 design, and the 3 other ships were completed to the project 1144.2 design.
The Pyotr Velikiy is the flagship of the russian northern fleet, and is the only ship currently in active service. The Admiral Nakhimov is undergoing a refit, and will be online in 2022, or 2023. The Admiral Lazarev was planned to be modernized, but it is currently being scrapped, due to a radiation leak making the ship unsafe to be put back into service. The Admiral Ushakov will likely be scrapped, and is currently being canibalized for parts, for the 2 active ships.
