Star Trek: USS Enterprise Refit + (DOWNLOAD!)
Hello!
After what feels like an eternity, I am finally posting a download for this project! Its roughly 99% finished, but I have been working on new projects so I figured now is the time to put the download up :). Feel free to add to the ship what you want, but if you want to use it anywhere please give me the credit and don't claim it as your own work, please. The necessary resource pack is included with the map.
This is my model of the Refit USS Enterprise seen in Star Trek Beyond. The ship has a fully detailed interior and I have added as many screenshots as I could to showcase it. I actually completed the majority of the ship around September 2019 but I never got around to updating this post due to complications in real life and with Minecraft updating to 1.13 and 1.14.
I must, must, MUST give credit to Norzeteus for giving me permission to use some of his textures from his amazing sci-fi resource pack. :) Without it, this project would not have been possible so I very much recommend you go check out his stuff!
About the Refit Enterprise:
The version which I have built is approximately 1:1. Approximate because there are very few sources which give its actual dimensions along with any blueprints.
Installation:
- The download contains 2 files called 'Refit' and 'EnterpriseRefitPack'
- Drop 'Refit' into your saves folder and the other into your resource pack folder.
- You MUST use optifine if you want all the features of the pack to load.
- I tested the map and pack on the latest preview version of optifine so make sure to go download it here.
- If there are any crucial problems with the pack or download please let me know so I can fix them asap.
- It's unlikely I will fix trivial problems regarding the world itself as I have pretty much abandoned it, but anything that is crucially broken please do let me know about it. The world loaded absolutely fine when I tested it on 1.16.5.

About the Enterprise:
This version of the Enterprise made its debut in 2016's Star Trek Beyond where it was just under 3 years (966 days) into its 5-year mission to boldly go where no-one has gone before. During this period, the ship had undergone several refits since it was last seen at the end of Star Trek Into Darkness. These include 6 extra phaser banks, a shorter neck section, swept-back pylons, and several minor alterations to the nacelles.
In the movie, the Enterprise stops at the highly advanced starbase: Yorktown, after receiving an ancient artefact from an alien civilisation. Starfleet admirals then capture a small escape pod containing an alien who says that her ship is stranded on a planet located through a nearby nebula. The Enterprise and her crew then travel through the nebula to the planet Altamid in order to rescue the survivors of the stranded ship. Upon arrival, the Enterprise is immediately attacked by thousands of swarm ships under the control of Krall, an alien who seeks the ancient artefact on board. The Enterprise is severely damaged in the attack and ends up crashing on Altamid whilst most of her crew make it out via escape pods.
