A Block Accurate Recreation of The Yogscast Season 1 Minecraft Map
As we’re coming up on 10 years since the first Yogscast Minecraft video was released, and with the original world seed discovered, I wanted to re-create everything Simon and Lewis did in that first initial 27 part series. I went block by block and re-constructed everything. It is, to the best of my abilities, 95% accurate.
Take a trip down memory lane! Visit Lewis and Simon’s first Minecraft hut! Explore the Yogcave! Marvel at the mysterious tree! Partake in the Pyramid’s jumping puzzle for glorious treasure! Visit Terrorville and uncover the secret of Israphel’s underground castle!

Missing: The Yogs Tower. I did not include it because I decided to keep the Yogscave accurate to what it looked like before Simon “renovated” it with fire. Also because once Lewis opens up the roof to build stairs, the project never gets completed and they leave the Yogcave exposed. I felt it was more “homey” to keep it prior to major renovations.
Modified: Israphel’s castle under Terrorville and the subsequent tunnel that leads to the Nether Portal. They are as reasonably accurate as they can be given the low light conditions (and the fact Lewis did not explore every single nook and cranny of the cave). The castle IS accurate, but it’s position and placement underground is likely not (though I tried my best). The beginning and ending of the long tunnel IS accurate, and I tried to include some elements to make the excruciatingly long trek feel similar, but it is more of a spiritual re-creation.
