Abu Dhabi Plaza" (Kazakh Abu Dhabi Plaza, English Abu Dhabi Plaza) is a multifunctional complex in the city of Nur-Sultan. One of the towers of the complex, Qazaqstan, is currently the tallest building in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.


History

On June 11, 2009, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates, after two years of project development, signed an agreement on the construction of a multifunctional complex Abu Dhabi Plaza.

On August 28, 2009, the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, laid a capsule in the foundation of the construction of the complex, noting that Abu Dhabi Plaza "will become a symbol of the city and will decorate it."


The main objects of the complex

The multifunctional complex "Abu Dhabi Plaza" consists of five buildings with a total area of ​​more than 500 thousand square meters:

The tallest tower, 320 meters high, has 75 floors and houses offices and living quarters.
Two towers with a height of 29 and 30 floors house office premises with a total area of ​​84 thousand square meters.
The 15-storey tower houses residential apartments with direct access to the shopping center.
Also in the "Abu Dhabi Plaza" is the five-star Sheraton hotel, which opened its doors on March 16, 2020. The hotel has 190 rooms and 100 suites, serviced by Sheraton.
Shopping center "Abu Dhabi Plaza" was opened on December 2, 2019. Its area is 26 thousand square meters and accommodates shops and restaurants located on two levels.

The complex also includes a four-level parking lot with more than 4,000 parking spaces, intended for visitors to the shopping center, apartment residents and office workers.

Aldar Properties PJSC is a real estate developer in Abu Dhabi with USD 10 billion in assets and 75 million m² of land. The developer's architectural structures are located in the United Arab Emirates and in other countries of the Middle East.
