Chromaticity II: Luminosity
Disclaimer: Chromaticity II: Luminosity is not multiplayer compatible.
This map is a sequel to my already published puzzle map Chromaticity.(On minecraftmaps.com) In the map's menu you have the options: Primaries Mode and Spectrum Mode.
In Primaries Mode you have three primary batteries with one terminal: red, green, blue. You add them to your corresponding RGB slots displayed below on your screen. Using these primaries change your current color also displayed below. Collecting a primary in which its corresponding RGB slot is already occupied clears any non-corresponding slot. The goal is to charge the batteries with three terminals with its required color. When this is completed return to your start position.
In Spectrum Mode you have two primary batteries with one terminal: Infrared and Ultraviolet. You add them to increase your Infrared or Ultraviolet levels. Using these primaries change your current color also displayed below. Collecting a primary in which its corresponding primary slot is already occupied subtracts any non-corresponding slot. The goal is the same as in primaries mode but with batteries with two terminals.
Developing this map took a few months because of multiple reasons. I unfortunately had summer school and even when that was over, regular school slowed progress just as summer school did. I also was on a week long beach trip and a road trip with my family.
The idea of a sequel for Chromaticity came to me back in the days of its development; which is why I made the colors in Chromaticity the way they currently are; I knew I had to make a sequel. For the first few months since that idea, I had a few ideas for the sequel which were: using laser beams in some sort of puzzle, using crystal gems as the sole primaries and crystals as the general theme, and even using Japanese calligraphy elements where the ink glows and the goal was to write on pieces of paper with your pre-equipped pen with the required ink color. But I ultimately went with the techno theme because it just seems the best one out of all the ideas I had.
