Modern Dormitory Building
This is my Minecraft recreation of a dormitory building named Dejope found at the University of Wisconsin, Madison campus.
Featuring the Four Lakes dining hall, meeting rooms, a coffee shop, laundry machines and a huge gathering space known as the Lake Mendota Room, the first floor of this lakeside residence hall has everything students would need to live throughout their college years at the University of Wisconsin. On the upper levels, floors consist of common areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms, and with views onto either the lake or the city, it is easy to feel at ease in any of the rooms. The exterior provides natural shade, while a large field and multiple pedestrian and bike trails interconnect with the wide sidewalks around the building. Buses stop across from the building, and ample room is provided for bicycle parking. At night, massive stadium-style lights illuminate the field, while sconce lighting can be found all around.
All of these features and aspects of the building make it an amazing place to stay, albeit an expensive one.
