Lore:
A pirate airship of the cutter class, designed to prey on ships in the water. Its intimidating appearance, the chilling figurehead and the hair raising drone of its engines are often times enough to cause a crew to surrender as soon as the Rosibella is spotted on the horizon, but its sails allow it to make a silent approach in the dead of night, against more courageous combatants. In such an assault, the Rosibella approaches from above where the target ship is defenseless, and fires its four harpoon-like anchors to latch on. The crew uses the large cargo-bay hatch set on the bottom of the hull to rappel down and subdue the crew. Loot is quickly and efficiently gathered and raised into the hold via the cargo lift. The ship they preyed upon is left behind a blazing pyre, as the Dreadlords fly off into the sunset drinking, cheering, and richer than they were before. No prisoners are taken and no witnesses are left.
The Dreadlords are a faction of Aeronaut Pirates who live in the sky, and only come down from their airships to pillage and resupply. Their customs and cultures have evolved around their hostile habitat, and their bodies have adapted to living at high altitude and functioning in low oxygen environments. Specialized technology such as safety harnesses, mag-boots and personal oxygen masks are a must for every Dreadlord, and have become parts of their day to day lives just as much as eating and sleeping. They cherish freedom above all else, and laugh at the sedentary lifestyle of the civilizations on the ground below. They are the ultimate apex predator, as no threat can reach them in their flying fortresses, and yet still they rely on the supplies pillaged from other nations. Thus, their own livelihood depends on the prosperity of their prey.
