The Earth Recreated in Minecraft: (1:553 Scale)
This map is a project started back in March of 2019 where I would re-create the entire Earth within a Minecraft map. The map is at a scale of 1:553, which means for every 1 single block would be roughly half a kilometer (0.5 km) Or in dimensions the map would be:
77,760 blocks from the west to the east, and 38,880 from the north to the south.
What's included?
-Rivers, many of the major/relevant rivers are being included such as the Mississippi, Nile, Danube, etc.
-Mountains, with the heights set, thanks to NASA, there are many high-points on the map such as Mt. Everest at a height of about 210 blocks high
-Varied Biomes, there are many biomes/climates/terrains etc. replicated from real life anywhere from tundra to jungle to mediterranean climates
