Gothic Style Cathedral

This build is in the style of 14th century French Gothic cathedrals, more specifically Amiens Cathedrals in France. I tried my best to emulate the shapes and simplicity of the church by using materials that evoked those of the time period. Specifically, I used mostly stone bricks with some smooth sandstone to accent the ceiling and rib vaults that would normally be found on a cathedral of this style.



Having studied very briefly some architecture history, I used the same ratios and proportions as an actual cathedral of this time to get the most accurate layout and feeling as I could and I think it produces a wonderful effect.
