Green terracotta house (Random Block Challenge)

Worked on this months random block challenge for green terracotta!

I had a bit of a mental struggle with myself, cause lately I noticed with every block that I tried to pair up with another for a nice palette that the first thing that came to mind for pretty much ANYTHING is 'SPRUCE!' and I wanted to ignore that voice. I mean, I know spruce is awesome, but I want to come up with other combo's too. So I started working with end bricks (NOT a favorite of mine normally).

This was eventually starting out as a tower, but as I finished the interior for the bottom floor I was really pleased with the way this turned out te be a nice compact complete functioning house (no interior pics, sorry, it's just to small to get a good image). So the top was cut off and I started roofing. I wanted to stretch my options a bit so I went with a hexagon roof, first half steep slopes and second half flat slopes. I tried texturing everything a bit and make it look more interesting.

After that I was not happy about the big white 'blob' on top, so I added the roof chapels and that made it look a lot nicer. Then I added a front garden/path, lots of greens and a little pond with a tree growing out of it. It looks like it's a bit derelict but at the same time very welcoming. I hope you enjoy this build!
