HKFSD Mercedes-Benz 816D Light Rescue Unit (LRU)
Hello! This is my first attempt building a fire truck! The reason I created this build is that I could hardly find any fire trucks that were compact [1:1] and not too blocky on the Internet. So, here is it. I really hope you enjoy it!
This Mercedes-Benz 816D Vario 816D with the F262 license plate serves in the Hong Kong Fire Services Department [Cheung Sha Wan Fire Station(CSW)].
Light Rescue Unit is designed to carry six crew members. All tools and equipment are designed to be retrieved from their stowed position externally. It is equipped with first respond fire fighting equipment for first strike fire fighting operation. This new version of appliance will enable firemen to wear BA sets at their seats.
