Idris-M Frigate
If any of you are fans of Star Citizen as I am, you'll probably have heard of the Idris frigate. It's one of the most iconic battleships of the game, and it comes in two models, the Idris-P ( P for Public/Personal I'm guessing.), and the Idris-M (M for Military.).
In-universe information:
The Idris-P is essentially a stripped-down version of the -M, with less weapons (Including a badass ship-to-ship cannon on the -M) and other military-grade features. While very expensive, they are available to civilians, and would be a huge asset to any private military contractor's fleet. Then you have the Idris-M - Think "Bigger, louder, more teeth." Though slower and less suited to cargo-carrying than the civilian model, it has a number of distinguishing feature, the most obvious of which being the previously mentioned ship-to-ship gun.
Behind the scenes:
The Idris-M was originally supposed to be a corvette, and anyone who's seen earlier concept art of it will notice the difference in size, width and the absence of a hangar. Later, it was scaled up to frigate-class, and given a hangar with a maximum capacity of 3 P5G Gladiī (Singular Gladius)
I'm particularly fond of this build because it was my application build on Reawakens. It got accepted, and ultimately led to me becoming a member of the internationally known Reawakens build team. Though my building skills have improved since then, I still feel it's a nice addition to my fleet (And one of the largest ships I've made.).
By the way, there were a couple of Worldedit errors that happened on the Idris, so there are fragments of the hangar removed and stuff like that. I wasn't able to undo them, so I just decided to try and disguise it in the screenshots. Still, you might notice a few strange errors if you're especially sharp-eyed.
