Imperial Palace (adaptation of Buckingham Palace)

This is a readaptation of the Buckingham Palace, in London, UK. The building serves as the urban palace of the Supreme Emperor or Empress of the fictional Scalcinum Empire. The palace is situated on the central district of the Imperial Capital of Scalingrad, besides the Parliament and the Supreme Court, facing the Square of Powers.

It was inaugurated by Empress Leila II, in 1745, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the city. The palace is named after her mother, Empress Leila I. The former Imperial Palace became the seat of the City Government, led by the Grand Vizier of the Empire.

The front corridor is inspired by Queen Amidala's Palace, in Theed, Naboo, from Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. The giant statues were readapted from the model by evilsketch.

The furniture and interior decoration was made together with my friend, the Emperor himself, who has also decorated the gardens.
