[UPDATE ON PROGRESS]
Im currently working to update this build to the mod Conquest Reforged. I will provide two versions, the modded and the vanilla one. This is going to be a huge update focusing on details, so it will take some time.
DESCRIPTION
This is a solo project that I started on 2015 Christmas. I aim to recreate Kaer Morhen and it's surroundigs (landscape) as it has been depicted in The Witcher games, 1 and 3. I mostly use the new version of the Witcher 3, but I also used the Witcher 1 to recreate the top and underground floors of the fortress, not accesible in the last game. I have made up some minor interior areas that were missing such as towers and hallways.
Note that terrain is not very good, especially on the margins of the build, This is because I had to learn how to terraform on the go, while the castle was already constructed. I might update the terrain from time to tme as I improve in this subject.
PROGRESS
The basics have been completed. From now on I will update the download from time to time. I might expand the whole surroundings and add details here and there.
When I finish every basic improvement i can think of, I will proceed to updating the whole castle using the full capabilities of the conquest mod. this means there will be 2 version. One that will be a basic one for conquest RP, and another that will continue to develop with support for the complete conquest package
RESOURCEPACK
Conquest 1.9-10
ISSUES
I changed the RP from Chroma Hills to Conquest. This has given a much realistic look to the whole project, but I'm having some trouble replacing the interior floor patterns.
The design of the fortress has some minor problems, i.e some interior windows have natural light coming through them but they are supposed to be inside a mountain. I have overcome this difficulty by shaping the mountain with conveniently placed cliffs, but it is impossible to provide natural light for every window inside the castle.
This has been worked out in some areas by creating huge cliffs that cut the mountain. I'll provide with pictures soon.
Any ideas and criticism are welcome, as this is a big project for a person and I probably could improve lots of things
