Map of the World - 968x484 blocks

This is my latest - currently unfinished - project; a scaled-down map of the Earth we live on, measuring 968 blocks across and half that - 484 blocks - from pole to pole. At the moment, North America is mainly finished (save for some small details), while Africa is essentially complete, except for Madagascar and some other islands. Europe is missing Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, but the rest is more or less done. Australasia and Antarctica are as of yet non-existent, and in Asia I only have parts of India, Bangladesh and the Middle East finished.

When finished, the map will show all seven continents of the world, along with many of the more noticeable islands. The land will be coloured to represent local vegetation/biomes, and on it there will be countless features marked. Here's a rundown of what will be on the map when it's finished:

In addition to all this, the map is scattered with things like historical landmarks, famous sights and tourist attractions, local animals, and more. There are a handul of boats (each typical of the region it's in) in the ocean as well.
