Medieval Fantasy Map

Ever since I started playing Minecraft, I've always leaned towards a Rustic/Medieval style of building. After experimenting with builds for years, I figured, why not build an entire Medieval Fantasy world? So that is exactly what I've set out to do in this project. One day, I may make it a complete Medieval server with a built in story and quests. But for now, I can only stick to the map itself.

The next step from here is to add key geographic features to the world, such as mountains, varying levels of terrain, and rivers and lakes. So make sure to stick around for that.

12/24/2019 - Completed a rough draft for the terrain of the map.

12/25/2019 - I began adding topographical features. Starting in the upper left corner of the map. I'm making sure to add plenty of variety in the heights and troughs of the mountains and valleys. I also have plans to insert ravines, lakes, rivers, etc.

12/27 /2019 - I've added several more topographical features to all the islands. I am nearly finished with the geography. After its completion, I will move on to the different layers of grass, dirt, and stone, along with several specific biomes to occupy the land.

12/29/2019 - Map has reached completion! Though, I know it's far from perfect, I thought it was a great introduction into the WorldPainter program. It has definitely proved itself a useful tool in my eyes.

Currently, I am using the completed map with my build team to make some sort of fantasy-medieval map, therefore I will not be releasing the map for the time being. Sorry!
