A 1:1 scale recreation of United States Antarctic Research Outpost 31, from the 1982 horror movie "The Thing" by John Carpenter. This was a personal project I did over the course of a few weeks. I got the basic blueprints of the outpost from outpost31.com, a fan website, and carefully went through the movie scene by scene to determine what items go where inside of each room. I may tweak a few things here or there, but overall I am extremely satisfied with my work, and I hope you are as well!
