Keeper Talks are free educational conversations between animal experts and our guests. Visitors can enjoy learning about African animals to Asian animals. Many of these include a custom opportunity to watch, feed, and or touch the animals during their feeding times.

A Zoo Educator will guide you and a group around The Zoo, stopping at various exhibits to speak about our animals and answer any questions. If you are lucky you may have a chance to meet some animal ambassadors up close!

Camp Zoofari is an immersive experience for all ages. Campers explore the Zoo, meet our animals and make new friends while learning about wildlife and how to protect them in the wild.
Activities and interactions are tailored to each camp group. Every topic includes opportunities to interact directly with a variety of Zoo staff, meet animals up close and personal, explore staff-only areas, feed giraffes, and more!

Education booths are at every exhibit that houses an animal! Simply click the sign to be informed about the animal showcased.

Feedings are held often as animals need to eat just like humans, if not more! Depending on the animal, you may get to help or be entertained by a majestic sight.

The Bird Show is a chance to see some of the birds of Zoo in action. With birds flying overhead and displaying their unique traits while Zookeepers present, you will be wowed with this exciting and educational chance to learn about many different species of birds and the conservation issues around these diverse and special birds.

ɪɴᴛᴇʀɴꜱʜɪᴘꜱ
During a zoo internship, interns will learn what a typical day in the life of a zookeeper is like.We will discuss the different animals that live in the zoo, what some of those animals is fed each day, the responsibilities the zookeeper has for caring and maintaining a clean environment for the animals and how zookeepers educate visitors about the creatures and their natural habitats.
The interns will begin with a behind-the-scenes tour, and maybe feeding some of the animals breakfast.
During the tour students will be educated on each of the animals, their eating requirements, natural habitats and interesting facts about each species!
