This is a custom Pixelmon Adventure Map created by BzUrQ(Planet Minecraft) @BzUrQ(Twitter) in 2016 for the Crew Craft Pixelmon YouTube series, and updated for Pixelmon on July 10th, 2019 for Minecraft 1.12.2 by YunGrey.

I have received direct permission to upload this.

Any unauthorized re-uploads of this map or the original are not permitted without direct consent from BzUrQ.

If you feel the need to send me a Private Message on PMC about this Map, please follow these guidelines. If you do not, I will not reply:

  • Do not ask me how to install this map. Follow this official PMC guide.
  • Do not ask me to relay a message to BZ. I am not a middle man, and I do not know him personally.
  • Do not ask me for permission to use this map on a server. My answer will almost always be yes, unless there is a monetary charge for users to have access to play.
  • Do not ask me for permission for you to upload a language translation to PMC or any other website. My answer is no. I cannot confirm if any non-language changes have been made to that version. However, feel free to privately share any language patched versions of the map, but do not upload it to PMC.
  • Do not ask me about mod conflicts or missing asset game errors when first loading the map. As long as you have the correct Pixelmon mod/version active, then there will be no mod/asset conflicts even if you get an error message when loading.
  • Do not ask me where a specific Pixelmon functionality is in the map. I'm not going to tell you where the Gym Leaders or "insert item name here" are.
  • If you have a concern that a certain Pixelmon functionality does not exist in the map, feel free to ask. Chances are, it does, it's just somewhere you have not looked yet.

WARNING! After the December 23rd, 2020 update, a Generations version of the map will no longer be provided here. I have put in around 200 hours for the update for Reforged 8.1.2. I have tested if Generations works with this map, and GENERATIONS DOES NOT WORK. Do not load this map up with Generations. You can, the world won't break, but NPCs will be seriously broken. Trades are broken, Pokegift Pokemon are broken, trainers are broken and only have 1 Pokemon to battle with. Animated statues are no longer animated. Lots of missing furniture and decorations.

Map Information
In my opinion, as someone who has done a play-through on this map before, this is the ultimate Pixelmon map. It's not meant to be a recreation of any type of Pokemon game, but instead gives you an amazingly original open world Minecraft adventure experience with Pokemon on a beautifully crafted map.

Another note. This is NOT the final version of the map as seen on the Crew Craft group member's YouTube channels. That version included 1 more additional island with its main feature being a more difficult 2nd battle against "The Legendary Trainer BZ". BZ never released that version to the public, and being as I'm someone who does not know him personally, I do not have access to that version. This is the latest, most finished, publicly available version of the map.

Due to the many updates to Pixelmon since this maps release, most Pixelmon aspects to the map no longer worked in Reforged 7.0.6 for Minecraft 1.12.2 before I fixed the map on July 10th, 2019. I will continue to keep this map updated as long as people wish or until I lose interest.

Installation Instructions
To download Pixelmon Reforged 8.1.2 click here.
(Place this inside the "mods" folder in .minecraft after installing Forge)

To download Forge 1.12.2 click here.
(Download the installer and run it. You must already have Minecraft Version 1.12.2 installed to do this.)

If you're playing this using the Technic Launcher, make certain the Pixelmon version they offer is the correct one for your download.

If you would like to use my custom pixelmon config, which allows Players and NPCs to use mega evolution and tons of other changes that I personally think are better than default for this map, place the "pixelmon.hocon" file located in the folder you downloaded, into your .minecraft/config folder. BACK UP YOUR ORIGINAL "pixelmon.hocon" CONFIG FILE IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY MADE CHANGES TO YOURS AND WOULD LIKE TO STILL HAVE IT!

Texture Pack(Fire Leaf) or Texture Pack(Annahstas Beastrinia) are Pixelmon inspired texture packs that I strongly recommend using.

If you want custom game rules for Minecraft or Pixelmon, you will need to research and add those yourself.

If you would like to report any bugs or broken features, send me a message on Planet Minecraft, username YunGrey. I cannot fix the teleporters for servers. Those are caused by bad netcode, servers, ISPs, routing, etc...

If you're doing a playthrough on this map and are Streaming or have a VOD, doing a YouTube series or playlist, feel free to link it in the comments. If it gets spamy I'll stop this.

Thank your for downloading this map, and thank you to BzUrQ for creating it.

Here are the things I fixed from the original map. No mod other than Pixelmon was used when editing this map.
*Attempted to remove and replace all remaining Pokeloot from the map. Because of the version differences, all Pokeloot, and loot given from NPCs, only gave "Air". So I placed all new Pokeloot around the map and the NPC editor was used to create new loot given from NPCs. I DID NOT FIND AND REPLACE ALL POKELOOT. So there are still some Pokeloot spread around the map that will give "Air". There is no shortage of Pokeloot on the map however, since I added what I feel like is more than twice as much as the original map so even the remaining "Air" Pokeloot won't be a hinderance. None of the Master Ball Pokeloot is random, they all have set items in them for this map now. So no more getting a random Master Ball out of Master Ball loot. If you are encountering an abnormally high amount of Pokeloot that drop Air, please send me a message and I will look into a fix. Update: After doing a playthrough on this map in Reforged 7.2.2, I have continuously found Pokeloot that I replaced that still give Air. I believe this is a bug with Pixelmon or either there is still old data attached to the map from old Pixelmon versions that is causing the Pokeloot to bug. This is still true in Reforged 8.1.2. I cannot fix this.

*Added NPCs back to the map. Almost all NPCs no longer existed. There are more than twice the amount of trainers as compared to the original map.

*Added custom Chatting NPCs around the map with custom dialog.

*Fixed floating trees.

*Fixed areas of terrain that seemed unnatural.

*Added Doctors and Shopkeepers back to the map.

*Due to limitations, I was not able to add Held Item vendors to the Megamart as seen in Crew Craft member's Youtube video series.

*Shiny Lab NPCs had to be re-added with new, similar trades.

*WARNING SERVER USERS! Pixelmon teleporters can be extremely buggy and cause you to be stuck in place after taking a teleport. I attempted to band-aid fix this by adding green arrow movement pads to where you teleport in hopes it will help move you from the bugged position if you're on a server. If you are stuck in place, move your camera, sprint, and jump until unstuck. If this does not work, relog or have an admin /kill you. Some teleporters were bypassed by creating alternate routes through the Power Plant by using Elevator Blocks and movement pads. These areas can be accessed by skipping the elevators after learning alternate routes into the rooms. Once you know the locations the teleporters take you, they can all be skipped by going there directly.

*Updated the green arrow movement pad puzzle in the Power Plant. After updating prior to July 10th, 2019, all green arrows faced the North direction, and a new movement puzzle had to be created.

*Revamped the furnace puzzle room in the Power Plant.

*Added an elevator in the movement puzzle room.

*Removed the teleporter pad in the movement puzzle room that skipped you past the "Master Ball Guardian" battle straight to the Shinny Lab.

*Added an elevator option after defeating the "Master Ball Guardian".

Past Updates
*Added Paths to each island leaving the spawn town.

*Added trainer battles along the paths to give an authentic Pokemon adventure feel.

*Added a fully custom, more streamlined, story line to the map. Talk to every NPC. All Gym leader battles and Elite Four are still in the map.
The order of the story goes: Spawn Town>Taiga Island Town>Jungle Gym>Desert Gym>Mesa Team Rocket>Mesa Gym>Team Rocket Powerplant>Savanna Gym>Swamp Gym>Snow Gym>Flower Forest Gym>Taiga Island Gym>Elite Four>Legendary Trainer.

*Added new spawners around the map for 6th and 7th gen Pokemon. These areas do spawn 6th/7th gen Pokemon naturally.

*Updated trainer/gym/elite four battles with 6th and 7th gen Pokemon.

*Updated Elite Four island to spawn 6th and 7th gen Pokemon.

*Added new areas of interest around spawn island such as, Fishing piers with fishermen, MooMoo Meadows Ranch, homes for players, appropriate battle and chatting NPCs inside certain caves, and others.

*Added several Grottos to the spawn island.

*Removed Master Balls from Master Ball loot. Each player can obtain up to 2 Master Balls from completing the story line. 1 from the "Master Ball Guardian" battle in the Power Plant, and 1 from beating Bz, the Legendary Trainer.

*Updated Gym Battles to have Mega Evolutions.

*Added Ender Chests to all Pokecenters. To act as a PC for items.

*Added more custom trainers to sparse areas of the map.

*Added a Fishermen's home across from the Pokecenter leaving North from spawn island.

*Fixed more bugged trainers.

*Added a Miner's home next to the Pokecenter on the East side of spawn island to increase awareness that exploring caves is something you should do on the map.

*Added homes and a duel arena next to the Megamart. I felt this was justified due to the area looking and feeling barren even though such an amazing monument existed in the area.

*Added teleporters to the Desert Island Gym in case you do not have a flying Pokemon yet.

*Adjusted Gym Leaders and other trainers to be a set level so that the progression of the story feels more natural. Before, most Gym Leader's Pokemon were set to be Equal level to the highest level Pokemon you have. After doing a playthrough on the map, I realized that it was just easier to leave some of my main Pokemon in my PC so I could battle the Gym Leaders at a lower level. This felt odd, so Gym Leaders are now at a set level so that you are not gated by your highest level Pokemon. Gym trainers were also adjusted to be closely leveled to the Gym Leader.

*Added a Button onto the Teleport Machine at the entrance to the Elite 4 Island that allows you to have quick access to the Elite 4 Island Battle Arena for use when you want to have a player battle.

December 2020 Update for Reforged 8.1.2
*Major NPC Trainer overhaul 99% of NPC trainers have been modified from the previous version of the map. I did this for 2 reasons. Reason 1 was to update trainer battles with new 8th Gen Pokemon. Reason 2 is a choice I made after playing through several modified ROM Hacks of Gen 3-5 of the original games and noticing how much care and effort went into making trainer battles a thing you had to use your brain to win. Because placing down NPC trainers and auto generating random Pokemon with horrible moves doesn't make for a fun experience. Seeing the same 5 Pokemon on every Team Rocket member is just boring. So I tried to give every single Pokemon in the game the appearance they deserve.

*Gym Leader levels, rewards, and dialogue have been adjusted for a better overall experience.
Gym Leaders are still a set level; however, level caps are now active for your Pokemon. Meaning that if your Pokemon go past that cap, then just for that battle, their level will be set down to the cap. This is not the same as "Equal" NPC battles since the Gym Leader's Pokemon levels do not change. Doing this is a more balanced way of level adjusting.
OHKO and Sleep clause are in effect for all Gym Leader/Elite 4 battles. Meaning "One hit knock out" moves are banned. Sleep clause means that only 1 Pokemon on each players team can be put to sleep at a time in a battle. For the first 2 Gym Leader battles, Legendary Pokemon are banned.

*Placed beginner gifts, obtained from Pokeloot inside the Spawn Town Lab. Includes an Exp Share, Badge Case, and a very loud Pokemon, with boosted stats.

*Updated/Added new NPC Trades with more interesting Pokemon and ones with Boosted stats. If you see an NPC Trader, it's going to be worth it to trade. Traded Pokemon now have hidden abilities and exceptional IVs. Early game trades are strategically placed to help out with upcoming battles. Make sure to explore.

*Previously unobtainable Legendary Pokemon due to old map age are now catchable. This includes, Celebi, Uxie, Azelf, Mesprit, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Arceus, Zygarde 10%/50%100%, Ho-oh, Lugia, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Articuno. (Galarian Moltres hasn't been added to Pixelmon as of 8.1.2)
Added a Timespace Altar in the overworld.
Added Arc Chalice Shrine in the overworld.
Added locations for the Lake Trio to spawn with shrines to signify their spawn locations.
Added Ilex Shrines for spawning Celebi. Several GS Balls added around the map from certain trainer battles and Pokeloot.
Added Tidal/Clear Bells to a few Pokeloot around the map.
Added a Cloning Lab inside the Powerplant.
Added an EV Training Room inside the Powerplant.
Added an Assembly Unit in the Powerplant. (More Zygarde Cells are obtained from a trainer battle in the Pokemon Mansion)

*"The Pokemon Mansion" A newly built, significant, point of interest has been added. (Check images above) Full of exciting trainer battles and spooky Pokemon. After doing a playthrough of Pokemon Platinum and seeing how memorable the Pokemon Mansion is in that game, I felt like the map could use such a reoccurring staple from the official games.

*Pokecenter/Pokemart interior updates.
Food Shopkeepers added to Pokecenters.

*Livened up the map with animated Pokemon statues, new interesting NPC dialogue, and loads of little visual enhancements.

*Reforged 8.0+ items added as rewards from trainer battles and Pokeloot. Mostly the new 8th Gen Exp Candies.

*NPC Trainers will no longer auto engage battles if you walk too close to them. You will have to manually battle all Trainers. Some also did not allow you to Forfeit, so I removed that setting.

*Added Move Tutors to the Megamart, 1 for each Pokemon Type, that teach the best moves of that typing. Nuggets are needed for payment.

*Added an elevator entrance from the roof of the Megamart for quick landing and taking off.

*Placed 1 Pokegift Pokemon somewhere in each town. These Pokemon are ones that I think are very cool and can be very powerful if set up correctly, but are widely underappreciated. They all have near perfect IVs, are already EV trained, the best abilities and moves. So make sure to explore!

January 2021 Update for Reforged 8.1.2
*Updated the map with more straight-forward/convenient biomes.
The purpose of doing this was to add more biome variety by adding biome variants, biomes that the map was completely missing, and add biomes where they made more sense. An example of the later would be if you see a sandy patch of land touching the water, then it's going to be a Beach biome, or Beach variant. Before, only certain specific visual beaches were actually Beach biomes. This made it very inconvenient if you decided to stay for a long period of time in a certain area with a visual beach without it actually being a Beach biome, so Beach biome specific Pokemon would not spawn.
Another example would be for the Taiga Island. Instead of the Taiga island being 100% Taiga biome, it's now Taiga, Mega Taiga, Mega Taiga Hills, Redwood Taiga, Redwood Taiga M, etc... This makes it to where any past or future biome specific Pokemon spawning mechanic changes by the Pixelmon developers will function properly.

*Changed starter loot distribution.
Before, the badge case, Exp Share, and Exp All were 1st come 1st serve. After some thought, this was inconvenient for people who wanted to play with their friends over LAN or on a server. So the badge case and Exp Share are now in each of the starter loot chests that were previously there. The Exp All is still in the same location but is now 1-per player, instead of only the first player.

*Added PCs on the Elite Four Island. Not sure how I overlooked this. So each level of the Elite Four now have PCs

Future Updates

*Currently, the only planned update is once Reforged 8.2 comes out, and if the better quest creation tools come with it, a fully functioning easy to follow quest line will be added.
I wouldn't wait for this update. A fully followable quest line sounds big, but it's really not that huge. I have no idea when 8.2 will be out.

*Once 8.2 comes out and adds the rest of Gen 8 Pokemon, I will be updating battles to include these Pokemon and will make sure these can be caught.
