this is my 1:1 scale Reconstruction of the Porticus of Livia, it was made on request of hherlev of roma antiquae 320 A.D. to fill out the Esquiline hill behind the baths of trajan. This porticus was considered as one of the most splendid monuments in central Rome. The site that it was built on used to be a palace of a noble man who pissed off emperor Augustus who then later tore down the palace and built this porticus so the people of rome could enjoy the space.It was also home to the ara concordia in the middle of its gardened open space.
Since the only concrete information on the Porticus of Livia is its size, general floor plan and that it was pretty it became the latest in my new line of origins level colorful builds :P
