RMMV Oceanic (III) was an unfinished diesel powered superliner built by Harland and Wollff shipyards for the White Star Line. This 3 funnel behemoth would have measured up to 1,080 feet in length, and as such would have been the first ship ever to surpass 1,000 feet. (That honor belongs to the Queen Mary now instead.)
