This is a Roman Fortress I built for Patriam Studios's upcoming Phase 1 release of their server. I utilized modded blocks from XKdeco, Oh The Biomes You'll Go (BYG), and Dawn of Time. One of my favorite blocks is from BYG: dacite, which makes up the majority of the palette.
Often, Roman fortresses during their imperial era were very symmetrical and basic with regards to architectural design. These types of fortresses were predominately located in parts of modern-day Italy, France, and Spain.
This Roman fortress includes stables, barracks, mess halls, storage rooms, armories, forges, officers' quarters, and a commander's house. Hope you enjoyed the post, and stay tuned for more!
