Scimitar-Class Patrol Vessel
Hello again,
This is the Scimitar-class patrol vessel of the Royal Navy. This is the first ship I built after completing my Erie-class gunboat and served as a starting point for my journey through modern Royal Navy warships and submarines that I then went on to build. Unfortunately, this class of ship has recently retired from service and has been replaced by the Cutlass-class patrol vessel, so it's no longer an in-service ship, which it was at the time of building. It's a tiny boat and was the smallest vessel in use by the Royal Navy. I'm sure you've seen others build it before, but this is my version, with as much detail as I could possibly fit onboard such a minute warship.
Armament is 2 x FN MAG general-purpose machine guns mounted on the stern.
Because these modern-era warships are not in many or any video games, I used high-quality IRL photographs as my main reference point, which made some of the ships you'll see in the coming days much harder to build, but nonetheless, I'm very proud of how they all turned out.
