Minecraft Maps
So this all started when I ran a discord rp group centered around day to day life of the SCP Foundation. That got me to thinking, why not build a physical representation of our Site 37.
It started with me taking a couple of days to use gimp to lay out the actual floor map for the interior. I then took inspiration for the exterior, from several things including SCP Containment Breach, SCP Maps over on Garry's mod, as well as the popular Nine tailed fox mod for different aspects of the base.
What then ensued was laying out that map via the map editor CB comes with and making changes as necessary to ensure everything fit correctly.
Anyways, this project has been a passion project of mine for about a year now, though a lot of that time was spent not touching it lul.
This will be one of the first SCP maps I've seen that doesn't look like a claustrophobic nightmare, and is more to scale. Obviously I won't release the floor plan because it defeats the concept of getting lost and exploration that these maps promote.
