Sundt Department store
Sundt is a department store located at Torgallmenningen 14 in downtown Bergen. The building is designed by the architect Per Grieg and it opened in 1938. In 1988, after 50 years and during its 50th anniversary the building got put on the protected list. The Sundt Department store is regarded as one of the main examples of functionalism in Norway. The Architect was given in 1961 the Houens Fund Diploma for its design. Today the building houses several brands of stores.
