The SL-1200 MkII Gekko is Gekkostate's ship.
It is a unique prototype ship, stolen by Holland and the other members of Gekkostate during their mutiny. It was a military spec-ops ship capable of storing and launching numorous LFOs. It is heavily armed, with many anti-air missiles stored in its hull, along with 6 large laser cannons separated into two turrets on the underside of its fuselage. It is capable of achievingescape velocity and entering low-orbit around Earth, the extent of this ability is unknown, as they do not specify how long it can maintain this state. It is equipped to accommodate numerous crew members, and has large refrigerators for food, and its own medical bay. It houses a uniquetrapar scanning device, known as the Compac Interferencer, which allows it to detect disturbances in the trapar and cloak its own signal from other ships.
After scourging the internet for anything similar to this project, and ending up with no luck, I decided to build my own. I have been working on it for 2 weeks now an have made much progress. I used MCEdit a bit also. When I finish this project, I'll upload a world save file, but for the meantime, enjoy the pictures I post of my progress. The project is now near finished and the Gekko is ready to fly the skies (Maybe)!
I will continue to update this project and add new features and enhancements.
This time, I took the months since my previous "gekko" release and I totally redid this project. As for the interior, it is almost done, just a few spots here and there that need done.
The world save file will be available to download at 10:00 PM tonight. 08/05/12

I have a new version almost ready for release! Sorry I haven't been replying to your messages or keeping you all updated, I've been terribly busy. But I'll give it my all and make this a must-have from Planetminecraft!
