Hello!
For a Challenge on Instagram called 'Month of Masters', where each month you paint/draw the work of a selected famous artist in your own style, I made this pixel art of a painting by this month's master, John Singer Sargent. The original painting is called 'Venetian Canal' (1913).
I resized this image and pixelated it, and then used that to make a pixel art in Minecraft. All blocks were placed by hand. I didn't fill in the sky because I kind of liked the way it looked.
This work took 8 days to complete.
