A little bit of history: The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California, are the headquarters of The Walt Disney Company and have been the company's home since 1940. In that year, Walt Disney moved his company from its previous location on Hyperion Avenue in Los Angeles to the new facility in Burbank, which included several production buildings, offices, workshops, and sound stages. In the following years, the Burbank studios became the epicenter of Disney's animation and live-action production.
