Control Room
Radio/Sonar Room
Kitchen
Crew Berthing
Forward Torpedo Room/Crew Berthing
Officer Berthing
Engine Room
Aft Torpedo Room
The German Type-IX U-Boat was a larger version of the Type-VII. Being larger, it could carry more fuel and thus had more range, but this came at the cost of manueverability and dive speed. The Type-VII was widely preferred by most skippers over the Type-IX because of this.
