Here is a new small ship, USS Tacoma.
USS Tacoma (PF-3), the lead ship of the Tacoma-class patrol frigates. The third ship of the United States Navy to be named for Tacoma, Washington, she was in commission from 1943 to 1945 and from 1949 to 1951. She also served in the Soviet Navy as EK-11 and in the Republic of Korea Navy as ROKS Taedong (PF-63).

La classe Tacoma est une classe de frégates d'origine américaine de l'époque de la Deuxième Guerre mondiale. Elle tient son nom du premier navire de cette classe : l'USS Tacoma (PF-3), mis en service en 1943, lui même tenant son nom de la ville américaine de Tacoma dans l'état de Washington.
