Ulyanovsk aircraft carrier (Russian: Ульяновск ) is the first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier built in the Soviet era, the first of the Ulyanovsk-class aircraft carrier, plan number 1143.7 plan heavy aircraft cruiser, order 1153 Plan -based design . The plan stalled due to the disintegration of the Soviet Union , and Ukraine , which inherited the ship, finally gave up the construction of the aircraft carrier due to insufficient funds.
