The NSW XPLORER is operated by NSW Train Link for medium to short haul routes. Introduced in 1993 these trains travel from Sydney to: Armidale, Moree, Griffith, Broken Hill and the capital, Canberra. The XPLORER can run in a variety of different configurations with sets of two, three, four, five or more depending on the route popularity.
A variation of the XPLORER, the Endeavour is operated by Sydney Train Link on intercity routes in the areas around Sydney.
