32x32 Item Model Template - By Hexuar
This is a tool which allows you to create items with larger models.
In the download you will find a folder called "32x32", as well as a file called "example_item.json". These should be placed inside of the assets/minecraft/models/item folder. If you do not already have the folder in your resourcepack, you can simply add them.
Now, whenever you want to create an item with a larger model, you will have to copy the "example_item.json" file and rename your copy to the item of which you are changing the texture. Then open the file using a text editor and change "example_texture" to the name of your item texture. You can also change "generated" to "handheld" or "handheld_rod" to change if the model is displayed as a regular item, a handheld item (e.g. swords) or as a fishing rod.
