Back Sheath
I like the aesthetic of being able to sheath a sword (either at the hip or on back). I found Manuel XXVI's Sheathed Swords resource pack which dictates that a sword held in the off-hand would be sheathed at the hip. Manuel XXVI's resource pack inspired me to modify some of the code so that the sword is instead sheathed on the back of the player character.
Note: because the position of the sword is tied to the position of your off-hand, there is some unavoidable movement and clipping.
