Color-Fur Wolves (Java 1.16+)
This resource pack replicates the "red wolves" texture bug from Minecraft Bedrock version pre-1.19.2 with the exception of the wolves' eyes (a personal stylistic choice) by setting the collar texture with the wolf's coat texture beneath to act as a full-model dyed overlay.
This resource pack tweak was inspired by this reddit post and made possible with direct feedback from Oranamous on the Datapack Jam discord server.
It appears Bedrock handles collar handling differently now and the same method does not work for that version, a fix is currently being looked into.
