Doom Inspired Helmet Overlay (for carved pumpkin)
This is a modification of the carved pumpkin overlay, replaced with a helmet overlay. I do want to add, I did not make the actual helmet part of the overlay, all I did was cut out the helmet using the free select tool on gimp, and then added the transparent orange color with free symbols I found. So just to make that clear, I do not own nor did I make the original helmet part. (the edges of the helmet basically).
This was just a fun project I wanted to do. (plz no sue)
Also just wanna mention, for some reason the orange overlay I added also kind of functions as a very primitive form of night vision?
meaning you can basically see in the dark, as you can see in the image gallery with some direct comparisons. Completely unintentional but all well I guess, hope you enjoy this overlay.
A few other things,
-this doesn't actually change the way the carved pumpkin looks, only the overlay.
-the shader I was using for the nether portal and in the nether is called "builder's quality of life" from here. Go to the releases link and follow his guide on installing the shader. (it's been moved apparently)
-I should point out that you should also use this which is a "no enchantment glint" resourcepack because for some reason the shader glitches out anything that's enchanted and makes it glow white. Not sure why.
-the "shotgun" is a crossbow replacement texturepack from here and it works great, arrows are replaced as shotgun shells and there's a custom reloading animation.
MOST IMPORTANT NOTE:
-I'm aware that it says "not compatible with this version" or whatever but that's not actually true, and I'm not sure why it says that. It should work just fine so for the most part just ignore that warning at least for my resource pack.
