Draugr Craft v1.5 - Optifine
Draugr Craft is an experimental resource pack with the primary focus of rekindling both the fear and the wonder that most Minecraft players feel on their first playthrough. Most of the mobs are given new, detailed, 3-dimensional models with custom textures based off of creatures from various mythologies. Each monster and creature is designed to invoke eldritch horror and fantasy without deviating too far from the standard Minecraft look and feel. I have decided to take this resource pack in a different direction. To make it stand out from your typical medieval fantasy pack, I want it to lean more towards gothic horror and "semi-realism". Therefore, it will not include your typical Tolkien-style mythical races, like dwarves and goblins. What it will have are creatures like those of Castlevania or Bloodborne: gargoyles, evil spirits, werewolves, etc. For that reason, I plan to put mermaids into a separate resource pack and to make villagers into humans with different styles, outfits, and skin tones depending on the biome.

- Skeleton bandits (inspired by Stalfos from The Legend of Zelda)
- Ghostly skeletons
- Draugr strays
- Mummy husks
- Man-eating spiders (based on the funnel-web spider)
- Cave scorpions (based on the Arizona bark scorpion)
- Minotaurs
- Mermaids (will be placed in a separate resource pack)
- Enderwraiths
- Nachtkrapps
- Vampire illagers
- Hellhound hoglins (only works w/ OptiFine HD U G8 pre12)
- Barghest zoglins (only works w/ OptiFine HD U G8 pre12)

- Illager variants (evil druids, evil soldiers, etc.)
- Plant monsters (creepers)
- Wyverns (ghasts)
- Ifrit (blazes)
- Dimension-based endermen (ie. empusae in the nether)
- Biome-based zoglins (ie. chupacabras in the desert)
Passive mobs:
- Human villagers (with different cultures and complexions)
- Realistic wolves
- Wandering merchant ("What are ya buyin'?")
