- References to in-game dialogue, such as Captain Briggsy's infamous quote during The Cursed Rogue Tall Tales
- Quotes from media synonymous with the game, like TheChief1114 and Zuthar13's reaction to an unexpected Galleon next to them
- Mentions of Rare related media and Rare employees, from the 1985 game Blackwyche to Rare pupper Kato
- Some well known splash-texts from the base game have been redone to be more scurvy and pirate-y
